We put 1000 trees in this year. 50% of these were replants due to mortality since the 2006 planting, We had approximatly 25% tree mortality since 2006 likely due to poor weed supression. This year we increased our weed supression efforts with roundup applications around each tree.
Late may has been very dry...not the bestfor planting but nice to spend time outdoors.

Well April has arrived and it is time to plant trees in upstate NY. This year we plan to plant 500 serbian spruce and 500 white fir.
